A sports injury can feel like losing a part of your week, or your whole weekend. Tom works with runners, cyclists and team players, and he looks at the whole picture, including your training, your gear and your goals.

Your plan is built in stages, so you know what to do now and what comes next. Many people use our rehab gym as part of their program, with Tom close by to adjust things as you go. You will always know the reason behind each exercise.

Fees are in our fees list, and when you are ready you can book an appointment or read what to expect at your first visit.

What it can help with

  • Running injuries
  • Cycling aches
  • Knee ligament injuries
  • Hamstring and calf strains
  • Ankle sprains
  • Shoulder injuries in sport
  • Tendon pain
  • Returning to training

What to expect

  1. We ask about your sport, your training and when the injury began.
  2. We test strength, balance and movement.
  3. You get a return-to-sport plan in plain steps.

How care usually unfolds

A common pattern, not a promise. You agree your own plan with your clinician.

  1. First visit

    Your sport and your goals

We ask about your training, your sport and how the injury began. Then we test strength, balance and movement, and agree a first plan.

  2. Weeks 1 to 2

    Calming things down

You often start gentle exercises and adjust your training. Many people keep moving in a way that suits the injury.

  3. Weeks 3 to 6

    Rebuilding strength

Strength and control usually come back in steps. We may test hopping, running or cycling load before we move on.

  4. After that

    Back to training

Speed and load often return in stages, with checks along the way. We can share a short plan with your coach if you wish.

Who offers this

Common questions

Do I have to play a sport?

No. Weekend walkers and gym goers are welcome too.

Can you work with my coach?

Yes, if you say it is fine. We can share a short plan with them.

How soon can I be seen?

Most people can be seen within a few days. Use the booking page to ask for a time.

Can I claim this on my health cover?

Many people can claim part of the fee, but cover differs between funds and plans. Check with your fund or insurer before you come. We give you an itemised receipt after every visit.

Should I bring my shoes or kit?

Yes, if you can. Bring the shoes, bike or gear you use for your sport. It helps Tom see how you move.
